SPARK was established through San Diego State University’s School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences by founding investigators Dr. Thom McKenzie and Dr. Jim Sallis. We are excited to announce Round 2 of the SPARK Equity Awards, with over $130,000 in funds available for individuals like PE teachers and physical activity providers as well as organizations such as schools, districts, after-school or early childhood centers. Applications are due by 11:59pm PT on February 16, 2024.
