SPARK Physical Education Curriculum

Welcome to the SPARK Research Center (SRC)

More than a webpage, SRC is a commitment to promote data driven study in coordinated school health, particularly in the areas of physical activity, physical education, and nutrition.

To support SRC, the researchers and educators at SPARK will:

• Gather quantitative and anecdotal data from existing SPARK projects
• Monitor, support, and highlight ongoing SPARK research projects
• Foster publications in professional and/or peer-reviewed journals
• Connect successful projects with marketing and PR to broadcast results
• Feature success stories in our newsletters and other channels
• Systematically highlight stories on our website, Twitter, Facebook, blog
• Offer free consultation (if SPARK programs are included) on study design, intervention strategies, measurement and evaluation, institutionalization
