About the Webinar

Looking for fun, active and engaging activities for your after school or summer program? Attend the next SPARK webinar to learn about a program that has over 300 activities for leaders to choose from and resources to help kids develop motor and fitness skills, movement knowledge, as well as social and personal skills. The SPARK After School program is designed to be a practical aide for leaders to learn how to teach and manage activities, provide an inclusive environment, and implement the program effectively. This program can be used by anyone who works with children and adolescents to promote and/or provide physical activity.

About the Speakers

Jeff Mushkin was first exposed to SPARK in 2004 while working for Shasta County Public Health Department in California. He became a SPARK trainer in 2005 and oversaw the SPARK Community Grant Program for Shasta County until 2007 when he joined the SPARK team. Jeff has spent the past 12+ years in SPARK curriculum design, professional development, and equipment selection. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, a master’s degree in Public Health, and over 20 years of experience in physical education, health, and nutrition.
